I'm a 36 year old librarian who loves to run, read, do yoga and hang out with my friends and family. I ran the 2008 & 2009 Boston Marathon for Team Eye & Ear to support the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Go Team Eye & Ear!

Yesterday was a Rest Day

My book gave me the option of 30 minutes of cross-training or a rest day, so with my knees still bandaged, I chose rest day. Instead I got a haircut, which was relaxing. At work we receive a 15% discount at Aveda, which is a little bit fancier than where I'd normally go to get a haircut, but the discount evens things out more or less. The best part is the head, neck and shoulder massage- makes me wish I needed a haircut at least once a month.

On Saturday I'm doing a 14 mile run with the FitCorp group. 14 miles is a mile longer than the farthest I've ever run, so wish me luck! The weather for Saturday looks awesome- 46 degrees and sunny.

Will your run on Saturday take you along Commonwealth Ave? If so, stop by for a drink. Unless it's before noon.

Yep, 1 Beacon St to the entrance of BC dorms and back! The run starts at 7:45 though, so (hopefully!) I'll be home by noon. Thanks though!
