I'm a 36 year old librarian who loves to run, read, do yoga and hang out with my friends and family. I ran the 2008 & 2009 Boston Marathon for Team Eye & Ear to support the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Go Team Eye & Ear!

Live Strong and Prosper

People who have run the Boston marathon before have a lot of advice for marathon newbies. One particular bit that I've dismissed time and time again is to find someone at your pace and chat while you run to make the time pass. I really dislike talking to other people while I run and it's even worse to have 2 Chatty Kathy's next to you; however, I'm willing to make an exception for Lance. We can talk about how "Soak up the Sun" is the most annoying song ever and get to the bottom of that pesky Olsen twin rumor.

Thank you for visiting, I will add you to my blogroll. I think that is neat that you are going to run. My daughter runs cross-country and has ran a couple of half-marathons. Me, the only place I'm running to is the kitchen and bedroom.lol Glad that you liked Drew, he is such a sweet and polite young man. We do know now that he made it to the top 50 but that's all we know. Will tell Drew that you are pulling for him that should enlighten him. Hope you and yours have a blessed day.

Did I miss something, Alicia? Who is Drew? Anyhow, I hope you have a good time at dinner tonight with Sharon. I'm going to the gym and doing a considerably less strenuous run than your sprint workout if I can get on a treadmill (the gym has been super busy lately).
