Is the Quaker Oats man an alien? Was he sent from some planet to encourage us from bus stops? I am thoroughly confused by these ads... Any thoughts?

These are known as fragment ads, and are intended as reinforcement of brand recognition
OK, but "go humans go" ?? what does that have to do with the Quaker Oats man?
That's EXACTLY what I said when I saw this - are Quakers not human?
