I've seen this posted on some food blogs that I read. I quickly counted 45 bolded items in my list- not too impressive. I bet my friends Vince and Steven (the most adventurous and cultured diners I know) could maybe get 90 of the items. I wasn't able to cross out the items I would never eat, because I can't figure out how to format that on Blogger; however, I guess I can't say that I'd NEVER eat something. An explanation (copied from Very Good Taste), the list and instructions are below:
Here’s a chance for a little interactivity for all the bloggers out there. Below is a list of 100 things that I think every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life. The list includes fine food, strange food, everyday food and even some pretty bad food - but a good omnivore should really try it all. Don’t worry if you haven’t, mind you; neither have I, though I’ll be sure to work on it. Don’t worry if you don’t recognise everything in the hundred, either; Wikipedia has the answers.
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten. (my personal comments are in parenthesis)
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.
4) Optional extra: Post a comment here at http://www.verygoodtaste.co.uk/ linking to your results.

You hate root beer? I love a root beer float. I can't remember the last time I had a float. What the heck is curried goat? Sounds like a bad dream.
Wow that's quite the list. I had fried rattlesnake in Arizona, and the waiter proceeded to remind us that snakes feed on rats. Nice.
